Camino Bike Rental Companies
For the average Camino cyclist, renting a bicycle is likely the best option in terms of simplicity and cost effectiveness. A two to three-week rental generally costs around €250-400 including delivery and drop-off, panniers, tools and phone support. The bicycles offered for rent are generally high quality and well-suited to the Camino, and the delivery and drop-off services and your start and end point are very convenient.
With the high cost of transporting bicycles by plane and hassle of boxing and unboxing, you will likely spend a similar amount to bring a bicycle from abroad (provided you already own a suitable bike and gear).
Purchasing a bicycle in Spain is an option, however, for the cost of renting you cannot buy a very high quality bicycle and gear, and reselling is both a hassle and usually returns only a small percentage of your purchase price.
